🌍🚢 Happy Earth Day! 🚢🌍

Today, as we celebrate Earth Day, we're excited to share some important news from Sea. Sustainability is a key part of our purpose as we strive to power better decisions to enable sustainable shipping, and we’re always looking for ways to address and improve this across Sea and for our customers.

Our Carbon Exposure and Carbon Accounting and Monitoring solutions have recently been updated to seamlessly align with the newest Sea Cargo Charter framework*.

This transition involves an update of the emission factors from ‘Tank-to-Wake' (TTW) to the assessment of greenhouse gas emissions from fuel production to the end-use by a ship 'Well-to-Wake' (WTW), therefore enabling us to provide a more accurate and comprehensive overview of the total environmental impact of your voyages.

For us at Sea, this is a big step forward in the journey toward greater sustainability. By broadening and extending the data in our carbon solutions, we are better equipped to mitigate carbon emissions, make informed decisions and be well-prepared for future regulatory change.

This development underscores our commitment to help our customers staying at the forefront of carbon reduction efforts in the maritime industry, to find out more about this and sustainability at Sea, please visit the link in our bio!
